I am spoilt for the choice of words to express my love for this cozy city. Trust me on
this one, I wish I was not tied up with the 250-word limit for this topic I could have
gone on and on writing about one of the best cities to live in: Pune. Shall we call
Pune a “Sponge City”? Let me erase the question mark on your face.
Absorbing people from across all borders, absorbing the food culture, engrossing the education culture, and still maintaining the authenticity of the old city charm. This is what Pune has to offer.

It's got everything that a metropolitan has to offer but continues to have the beating
heart of a small town. You still find those tiny alleys and areas, each specializing in a
specific product like Tambat Ali and Kumbhar Wada. It makes the city special.

For me, it's also the only place that gives a feeling of home. The moment you fly in,
hovering over the lights of the city that is Pune, it's an instant feeling of being home
that sweeps over you. And nothing can ever compete with that.

Being kind of a talkative person myself, I made friends with my colleagues who hail
from Delhi, MP, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Goa, Kerala, Mumbai, Satara,
Nagpur, Konkan, Rajasthan. They proudly call Pune their home. You saw why I said
Pune should be called "The Sponge City".
